The regular May meeting of the Grand River Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians was held on Monday, May 28, 2007 at 7:00 PM in room 1058 of the Mathematics and Computer building at the University of Waterloo, the president being in the chair and the secretary was present. The minutes of the last meeting were approved with corrections.
The president delivered his report.
The secretary/treasurer delivered his report.
The chair ruled that "The election of Jason Gorrie on March 14 as alternate to the NAP national convention was out of order and in continuing breach of Section 4 of Article VIII of the bylaws, and is therefore null and void, resulting in an incomplete election." The election was then postponed indefinitely.
An educational program followed the business meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:37 p.m.
